Wedding portraits – Central Highlands
People that we photograph always amaze me! It is awe-inspiring. It does not matter who you are, where you are, what time of the year it is…LOVE should always be heralded and cherished because it is beyond measure.
This couple were lucky to have a neighbour with the biggest, most beautiful and manicured backyard, that I have ever seen….You could build a whole village and still have space for more there. It provided the perfect backdrop to hold their ceremony along with their family and friends. This wedding was a long time coming filled with love and fun. There were 7 grandchildren involved and many, many close friends and a very special dog.
It has been a while since we had to photograph under the Australian sun. It was definitely bright and I am glad that I do not photograph alone but with my husband to be able to cover the events. The four piece string quartet serenaded the guests before the formals and added to the beautiful atmosphere of the day. We did find a tree or two and ended up in the orchard before they headed off to their reception and cake cutting ceremony. The scene was so rustic with Australian natives, fires and a country band for music.. How country could it get?
Weddings come in all shapes and sizes but the love shared by the couple and the family and friends that support them on this day is out of this world.
We are so privilege to be able to photograph such events and get to know the couple, their family and friends on this day.
