Our wedding photography process is pretty straightforward…
1. The best is having a face to face meeting or consultation at our studio in central Ballarat. We are happy to travel to Geelong, Daylesford, Bendigo or even Mount Macedon for your weddings, so folks if you live there, we can meet via Zoom or have a chat on the phone too. We want to get to know your plans, your vision for the day and give you peace of mind and reassure you that we can photograph your wedding successfully!
2. Once you have decided that we are the photographers for you, we require a 20% deposit to reserve the date with us. We will send out a wedding welcome guide, which gives you more details about us as well as tips on how to help and what to expect for your wedding photography. Our goal is to create and capture genuine and authentic moments, that will be treasured for years to come.
3. Who knows… you may want to know us earlier and ask us to photograph your engagement portraits….this is not old fashioned!! This is a way of getting to know us as your photographers too. You can always use these photos as your wedding invites and on your tables.
4. With weeks to go before your wedding, we will always check in and ask how your planning is going, do you need any help and get some information for your timeline. We will also do a location scout with you when you have decided your favourite spots for the bridal or family portraits.
5. A week before your wedding, we will ask for the second payment as well as confirm the details and schedule for the wedding. We may also get together yt your rehearsal with the celebrant for the ceremony.
6. About 2 to 5 weeks for the wedding, we will call you in to show you your photos and start to chat about designing your album too.
