International Portrait Masters – Accredited Photographer – Ballarat
Holy doooley!
I’ve been accredited by the Portrait Masters! It’s official, I am not just a photographer, I am a “Accredited Photographer”.
My path has been long and challenging, and there’s still a lot of work to do, but I am over the moon happy and proud of my achievement.
After 5 long years of submitting photographs, I have managed to earned my Associate Membership for the Portrait Masters. We are always striving to do better for our customers and continuous education and training is the key.
This means that my work (a sample of 50+ images) was evaluated by some of the best photographers in the business and judged to be at a true professional standard. There are currently only four photographers who have been awarded the accreditation within Victoria.
Furthermore, all the images that I’ve submitted for judging were also client work a as I felt it was important to be evaluated on the type of photography I actually produce for my clients. It truly means so much to me as it’s professional validation but also an assurance for everyone I work with that their headshots and portraits will truly be of the highest quality for every client.
ABOUT THE AWARDS
The Portraits Masters Awards and Accreditation program was founded in 2017 by the creators of The Portrait System (educational courses by Sue Bryce) and The Portrait Masters (portrait photography conference), which offers online and in-person education for photographers. The Awards and Accreditation program was created to acknowledge, honour, and celebrate high-quality professional photographic works and to give photographers the public recognition they deserve in their profession.
Each round of The Portrait Masters Awards and Accreditation is judged by a team of award-wining photographers. Jurors evaluate and award scores on a scale of 1 to 100. Images are judged on a range of creative and technical factors and photographers earn accreditation points by receiving Bronze, Silver, and Gold merits.
