Crafting Beauty in Ballarat — Meet Alana Smith, Jeweller

At Sunflower Imaging, we have the privilege of meeting and photographing talented people who pour their creativity and care into everything they do. Nothing like her business name, one of those people is Alana Smith, a skilled jeweller based in Ballarat.

Cut off your hands – Alana Smith – Jeweller Ballarat

With a fine eye for detail and a deep love for craftsmanship, Alana creates beautiful, meaningful jewellery that tells a story — whether it’s a custom engagement ring, a reimagined heirloom, or a delicate piece for everyday wear. Her designs are elegant, thoughtful, and built to last — just like the connections they represent.

Alana’s approach is both creative and personal. She listens carefully, works with integrity, and takes pride in every piece that leaves her bench. Her jewellery is not just worn — it’s treasured.

We loved capturing Alana in her element: hands at work, tools in reach, and passion shining through her creations. Her portraits reflect the precision, warmth, and authenticity she brings to her craft. Thank you to @creativecityballarat for the opportunity. A big thanks to Alana for her patience and time for this photoshoot. We love collaborating with you.
